Yeah!None Boo!13
When President Obama took office there he had a clean slate. Optimism was unbounded. He spoke of ideas and changes. He has been at his post nearly a year now. How do you think he is doing? Vote with your thumbs simply if you think he is doing well or doing poorly.

This site encourages complete thoughts and discussions. I do not like the trend we take with twitter, facebook and other online meeting places. A disconnected stream of ramblings is not communication.

Think about what you say. Communicate a message. Connect to a reader. Twitter and Facebook have become not much more than web based public logged meaningless chat. I don't expect to see replies to soapboxnation.com that are simply "lol" and "me too". That is not a post. That is not part o... (more)

Dear people walking around my office (and countless others in the world, I'm sure),

It's not "Happy New Years", it's "Happy New Year". Singular.

While on the subject (and well in advance), it's Valentine's Day. It is not, nor has it ever been, "Valentime" or "Valentimes".

Thanks!

There are 3 people coughing non-stop in my row today. Two of those were coughing all day yesterday, too. I'm about to put Ziploc bags over their heads and usher their sick asses out of here. How many effin times do you have to be told, "stay home if you're sick."?! I have NO time to be sick. Between my final this week, and the seemingly endless Christmas shopping, plus social events, there's barely a minute to spare.

I swear to God, if this keeps up, I'm coming in here with a super-soake... (more)

What is up with the dumbasses driving around the Willowbrook Mall. Just because they see green they go. Some useful info for said dumb asses. When the green is an arrow it is for those who are turning, not for those who are going straight. Sometimes straight people have to wait too! stupid dumb asses!

:D

Angry Dan is now Happy Dan.

Today, right now I begin full speed ahead into working for myself. There is a tiny amount of anxiety that goes with the territory of starting one's own business of course. I am at peace though. There is no stupid questions to repeatedly answer 40 times a day. There is no one not reading the 7 emails I sent them that answered the questions they just woke me up at 3 am to ask me for the 15th time. There is no one bothering me. There is no worries. No dre... An interesting perspective, no doubt...

For a man, work is a matter of obligation and duty. For a woman, work is a matter of choice. The most telling example I came across which illustrates the difference between the psyche of a man and a woman, was a 30 year-old woman who appeared on a TV programme about ‘Success’. She had been very successful in the city as a dealer on the money markets in the 80’s. She had been so successful that she beca... (more)

You know what really grinds my gears?
People who ask, ten seconds after finding out I've been married just over a year, when we are going to start a family.
I got married because I love my husband and wanted to spend my life committed to him. And to throw one bitchen party.
I did not get married to have a brood of whining, germ carrying miniature mouths to feed.
My family planning or lack there of is non of your business. I am a member of the child free life movement.
let it go.
Now back ... (more)
